Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 7pm
Friday 7:30 am - 1 pm
Saturday 7:30 am - 1 pm
Closed Sunday and holidays.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Patients are seen by appointment only. For your convenience we have morning, afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments. Please call in advance.
What forms of payment do we accept?
We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Debit Card, and Care Credit.
Do you have payment plans?
No. We are not set up for billing so full payment is due at the time of service.
How old does my pet need to be to have them spayed or neutered?
Spaying or neutering can be done when your pet is 6 months of age or older. A pre-surgical exam is given to determine if your pet is physically mature enough and healthy enough to have the procedure. Current vaccinations are required at time of surgery. Male and female dogs and female cats spend the night.
Do I have to make an appointment to have the sutures removed after the surgery?
No. We use dissolvable suture unless otherwise specified. They usually take several weeks to dissolve on their own. If you notice any swelling, redness, or discharge please call the office to set up an appointment to have it looked at. You will be notified if staples were used as they would need to be removed in 10 days. Plastic collars are given only if needed. If you would like one for you pet please let our receptionists know.
What do I do in case of emergencies?
If your pet has an emergency and our hospital is closed there are some emergency hospitals you can call.

What Doctor will I be seeing?
The doctor will primarily be Dr. Jawitz or Dr. Keck. In cases of vacations or holidays you may see a relief veterinarian.
Do you board pets?
Yes. We board pets as a convenience for our established clients. Pets need to be up to date on all vaccinations including kennel cough and flu. They also must have a recent stool sample tested. We don't have runs so large dogs and long stays are discouraged.
Do I need to call ahead to refill prescription medications?
Yes. Please don't wait until you are out of a prescription medication to have it refilled. Give us a call to fill it as soon as you know you are going to need them so we can have it available for you to pick up. Please allow 24 hours for most refills and a week for special orders. Heartworm medications and flea and tick preventatives are always available, however your pet must be current on a heartworm test in order to get heartworm medication.
At what age should my puppy/kitten start vaccinations?

A stool sample should be check at your new puppy's or kitten's first visit.
